Getting Here

By Train and Tram 

Located in the city of Edinburgh, the nearest tram station is at Haymarket Station. Edinburgh trams operate between Edinburgh Airport and York Place.  

Edinburgh boasts two railway stations. These are Haymarket Station (approximately 7 minutes' walk from the EICC) and Waverley Station (approximately 20 minutes away by public transport). 

By Plane 

The nearest airport is Edinburgh Airport, approximately 30 minutes away by public transport.

Please note, accommodation is not included in the conference package. There are a number of hotels in the vicinity which can be booked online direct with the hotel. The venue post code is EH3 8EE.

Harish and Jane lead the education portfolio for the British Council’s work in Scotland, working closely with schools, universities and colleges on international opportunities for the sector.  Feel free to come and meet them, informally, at the British Council’s offices in Edinburgh (a short walk from the conference centre) to learn about the work of the British Council in Scotland.
