There's lots of different ways for your students to train or continue their education. It's important they decide on a direction that's right for them. 

For many young people making their choices about continuing education after school is the first time they make important decisions which affect their future.

Planning to work in another country?

For those of you supporting international students who do not plan to work in the UK after their studies, we would recommend that, if taking a professional qualification leading to a very specific career path (e.g. law, medicine, nursing, teaching), they check with the relevant professional bodies in the country they plan to work in. 

While UK degrees are globally recognised as high quality, there may be some additional criteria the student needs to comply with to be able to practice in the profession they've chosen in another country.
