University of GlasgowPhysics / Theoretical Physics [BSc/MSci]I’m a first-generation university student, studying theoretical physics. At school, I became curious as to how we can understand the universe using concepts and equations; so studying physics felt like the thing I should do. I’m still not sure exactly what I want to do after university - there’s a wide range of research opportunities if I want to stay in physics, but lots of very different careers I could maybe see myself going into instead. Daniel
University of GlasgowPhysics with Astrophysics [BSc/MSci]I am currently in my penultimate year of the Physics with Astrophysics MSci program at the University of Glasgow. Additionally, I served as a class representative for both Physics 2 and Physics 3, which helped me gain confidence in representing others—something I am passionate about and plan to continue in the future. I also occasionally participate in debates at the GU Union and am active on social media, particularly regarding political issues. Furthermore, I am the Publicist for both the GU Physics Society and the UofG Liberals, where I also serve as Treasurer. Guy
Durham UniversityMPhys Physics (F301)Hi I'm currently studying physics and hope to go into quantum computing! Ask me about: being from a state school, being in a band, learning totally new skills at uni, shoulder injuries, suffering for not taking further maths and playing sports casually at uni :) Harriet
