Course summary
Our BA (Hons) Business and Management (Entrepreneurship) degree takes an interdisciplinary approach, blending business and management knowledge with the essential skills needed to succeed as a resilient, impactful and adaptable manager.
It encourages you to develop critical perspectives and build a professional and responsible mindset, whilst strengthening leadership and team working skills that will increase your appreciation of the roles managers undertake.
Embrace your entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial spirit to successfully navigate the evolving business landscape across various sectors – private, public, or third sector within organisations, or launching your own enterprise.
The degree is taught from a global perspective through a curriculum that reflects the realities of international markets. Sustainability, corporate social responsibility and ethical decision-making are embedded throughout.
As well as the opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience through an experiential work or volunteering module in the second year, we also offer an internship year in industry between year two and the final year. Past internships have included Deloitte, Admiral and the Wales Cyber Resilience Centre.
We offer this degree with two study options. You can choose three years full-time or four years full-time which would include a one-year industry placement between years two and three that will give you hands-on experience in a real-life working environment. This year in industry gives you practical skills that many employers seek, giving you a competitive edge upon graduation.

Update on Historical Entry Grades Data
Please note that some courses include a foundation year, which has affected the accuracy of the data in this tool, which does not differentiate between Yr 0 entry and Yr 1 entry. As a result, these courses have been excluded this year. You can find more information on our website: www.cardiffmet.ac.uk/afteryouapply
This is the first year of the historical entry data tool (below), and we are committed to making improvements for future application cycles.
