This course prepares you to rapidly progress your career in an exciting, growing industry. Our course is aimed at both new graduates and industry professionals who wish to broaden and deepen their knowledge in a wide range of mechanical engineering subjects.
At present there is a nationwide shortage of skilled Mechanical Engineers, which means that the skills you develop on this course will be in high demand.

Our programme topics include computational mechanics, thermodynamics, materials technology, computer aided design, and engineering simulation.

This course has a subject classification which requires students whose nationality is outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland to have an ATAS certificate, irrespective of country of residence at the point of application.

Applicants should hold at least 2:2 degree in related subject such as mechanical materials.
Non-standard applications will be considered on their merits in the light of the nature and scope of the programme and if they have relevant experience.
Applicants who have not studied recently you may need to undertake a Top-Up degree Entry programme first.
IELTS: 6.5 with no component lower than 6.0.
