Summary

Smaller sessions to bring school and college communities together, hosted by advisers for advisers, to collaborate across four key topics.

Personal Statements: Key Insights from the First Cycle

Led by advisers, for advisers, this session offers space to share practical strategies and reflect on current approaches following the implementation of the new structure. Balancing structure with individuality and ambition with realism, it's a chance to discuss common challenges and share techniques.

Engaging Parents and Carers in the Student Journey

Whether you’re looking to strengthen existing practices or develop new approaches, come ready to exchange insights and leave with actionable ideas. This adviser led session is your opportunity to explore how to maximise engagement with this influential audience.

Tools, Tips, and Tactics: Making UCAS work for you

This interactive session offers a hands-on opportunity to learn from peers, discover innovative uses of UCAS resources, share your opinions, and leave with actionable strategies and materials to enhance student support.

Predicted Grades & References in Focus

This roundtable brings together two critical elements of the UCAS application process. Participants will reflect on what’s working well and discuss strategies for consistency and accuracy. From refining existing approaches to building new processes, this peer-led discussion provides tools, metrics, and collaborative insights to support students effectively and strengthen application outcomes.

These 30-minute sessions are repeated twice per day during the extended lunch breaks. To give everyone a chance to participate in these smaller sessions, bookings will be limited to one session per person throughout the event. You’ll be able to sign up for your chosen session when breakout selection opens in November.
