Top ten tips for supporting applicants this month
- 2025 applicants who’ve received decisions from all of their choices have until 5 June to reply. If they don’t make their replies by 5 June, their offers will be automatically declined.
- For those eligible, Extra is open until 4 July.
- After 30 June, all new 2025 applications will automatically go into Clearing.
- If some of your students need to take admissions tests, encourage them to pre-register early and notify the university or test centre of any requirements for additional support.

- Conservatoire applications open on 10 July for 2026 courses.
- New for 2026 – conservatoire applicants only need to submit contact details for one referee, who will only be contacted if additional information is required.
- From the 2026 cycle, students will select T Levels from a pre-filled list, choose their core and specialism from dropdowns, and add their placement provider – making the process quicker and clearer.
- Level 3 apprenticeships are now included in the UCAS Tariff. This means students can calculate Tariff points for apprenticeships alongside A levels, T Levels, and other post-16 qualifications – it’s another big step forward in ensuring apprenticeships are recognised equally in admissions decisions.
