That’s why we’ve teamed up with University Alliance on the #UniMythsBusted campaign – a practical, myth-busting series designed to give you the tools to support your students with clarity and confidence. From employer insights and expert advice to real student experiences, we aim to help you guide students through the noise and focus on what matters for their futures.
Launching later this month: The Demystifying Jobs video series, is designed to help you guide students in exploring future careers, especially when considering university options.
25 June: What are employers actually looking for?
Do your students worry about how the choices they make now will affect their future careers? Hear from employers how your students can make sure they stand out in the jobs market, how you can support them to feel confident in their choices, and how you can bust common myths around employability.
14 July: How can students use university to boost their employability?
Current students and university career advisers will provide advice on how your students can make the most of their time at university to boost their employability skills, helping them feel more confident in their choices.
25 September: The jobs of the future
Learn from the latest reports and experts in the field on what the jobs of the future will look like – and how your students can most usefully prepare to enter this job market. With experts from within higher education and from those shaping the policy landscape, this session will provide an overview of the kinds of skills that will be in most demand in the future.
