Clearing opens 5 July

Clearing is a great option for students who:

  • haven’t yet applied
  • aren’t holding any offers
  • have changed their mind about their course or university

From 5 July, they can search for available courses and apply directly through Clearing. Download the Clearing poster to share with students and parents.

Reply deadlines for 2025 applicants

If any of your 2025 applicants receive all their decisions by 17 July, they must reply by 23 July — or their application will be declined by default (DBD), including those in Extra. Remind students to check their UCAS Hub regularly so they don’t miss this deadline.

Download the Applicant Status Report early

Before the embargo kicks in ahead of results day, download your Applicant Status Report so you have all the details you need. Remember: The adviser portal won’t be updated again until the embargo ends.

Check your registered centre contact details

If you are a school supporting students on results day, your main registered correspondent will receive updates and embargo communications. Take a moment to confirm these contact details are current – if not, get in touch with us to update them.

2026 entry conservatoire applications open 10 July

Applications for 2026 conservatoire courses open 10 July. New this year: Students only need to provide contact details for one referee – and they’ll only be contacted if further information is needed. It’s a simpler process to help students apply with confidence. Read more in our conservatoires application toolkit.
